PRODUCT DETAILS US ARMY WW2 A-11 watch: These are high quality reproductions of the WW2 A-11 military service watch. Although numerous watches were produced in the US and issued during the war, the A-11 is perhaps the best known. At the beginning of the conflict, it was recognized that Allied personnel would need a wristwatch that could withstand the rigors of combat. Which led to the specification for this watch being issued. Three American watch manufacturers (Elgin, Waltham and Bulova) were contracted to produce the watches, although the A-11 also saw service with the RAF, RCAF and Soviet Air Force despite being an American production. All in all, this made for a simple, accurate, high-quality wristwatch that could withstand the rigors of field service and be easily maintained. Each watch features: * A black dial with white indexes. * Battery operated quartz movement. * An outer track for the minutes. * A smart stainless steel case with a snap-off case. * Luminescent hands and numerals for easy reading in low light conditions. * A 23cm olive green canvas strap held by spring bars. All watches also had to feature "hacking" (the seconds hand stopping completely when pulled out of the crown) for easy synchronization and precise timing. The dial measures 32mm across, excluding the crown. A flat brown presentation box with silver embossed text. A maximum wrist size of 20.5cm.  Item condition: New, Reproduction 1x piece

Manufacturer Dragon Tiger Stripe Asia Size: XLWaist width single 48cm, total leg length outside 118cm Advisor (limited for the advisors) Tiger Stripe is a mid-war pattern from the Vietnam War and was frequently used from 1968 until the end of the war. The camouflage pattern was widely used among LRRP / Ranger Units, SF, SOG, CIDG and ARVN units. These are often referred to as "Gold Tigers" due to the fact that the boonies faded and the colors became brighter in the Vietnamese sun and rain. The original deep black became "purple" and so a new color scheme was created by these effects.
