Very nice movable full metal replica of the German MG34 from WW2. Various modifications have been made.....Cocking and firing possible, wooden shoulder rest.The breech cover can be opened, which is not possible with the normal MG34 from Denix. A sturdy holder has been expertly fitted in the front area, which is secured with a retaining bolt similar to the original.
Delivery includes the belt toggle shown (post-war Yugoslavian), which can be inserted by modifying the model, as with the original. It is also possible to insert a belt here. This is not possible with the original Denix models. The bolt cover snaps into place, this part was also expertly modified afterwards.
The MG can be split down the middle, which reduces the length by about half, which is an advantage for transportation and especially for shipping, as otherwise the MG would have to be sent as bulky goods. The original screw, which has to be loosened for disassembly, has also been replaced by a more stable one.
The front sight can be opened, the rear sight as well, the sliding sight is immovable. The bipod can be folded up and is held in place by a spike, as on the original.
Already lying in the hand, this model is very close to the original. Very good OPTICS, no deco parts set, just a model, 1:1 replica.
