Type Wehrmacht leather boots Knobelbecher Schaftstiefel Wachbataillon with horseshoe 290/109

High-quality leather boots, German manufacture for military guard battalions / protocol service.
Made like Wehrmacht boots, with jagged horseshoes. This makes for a good background noise when marching!
If you still know an old shoemaker / cobbler - they can usually adapt this type of boot very nicely to the Wehrmacht, with pinned leather soles and cat's eyes (hobnails) for example.....

Size 45 (290/109),
The specified width refers to the instep of the boot, i.e. the size of the opening where the foot dips into the bottom of the boot.
The shaft width is then congruent with the instep width. A rather narrow instep is available here.
