As was often the case during the war, individual parts were used that were currently in stock.
Here, for example, a 56 leather piece was fitted into a 57 zinc ring. 
Fits together just as well, and both sizes were intended for a 64 bell.

So this lining will definitely fit in a 64 bell.

Head size 56, in the 57 zinc ring - fits! (bell size 64), see pictures.
