SS steel helmet M42 original bell NS62 with helmet lining size 55 and chinstrap from museum liquidation

Original WW2 M42 helmet bell, with inner lining and chinstrap.
Bell stamped NS62 and lot no., see pictures - NS = Vereinigte Deutsche Nickelwerke, Schwerte

As part of a museum restoration, the bell was painted black, provided with badge remnants and completed with reproductions of the helmet lining and chinstrap.
The runes are only partially/ piecemeal preserved under the "masking", but have been completely covered here for legal reasons.

The lining in particular is a very beautiful, antique museum piece, lovingly aged and with patina.
A very nice overall result.
