M40 helmet bell, stamping not / only faintly recognizable,
camouflage finish was renewed a long time ago. 
Bell with slight age rust, several layers of paint, wire frame, great patina

The inner lining is an older museum piece, additionally aged and patinated.
A very nice overall result. Great battle helmet!
The helmet was once part of a museum exhibition.
