US Army cap peaked cap olive US Army

Massive 1:1 revolver Caliber .45 Peacemaker replica Completely made of metal (injection molding), brown wooden grip panels. Barrel cannot be opened. Can be cocked and fired. This weapon was originally used by the US Army. Within a few years, however, most American citizens had one of these revolvers. The fact that the Colt used the same caliber ammunition as the Winchester M1873 rifle contributed to the Colt's popularity as a handgun in the old North American West in the late nineteenth century.Curiously, this revolver has been given numerous nicknames. In addition to the aforementioned Peacemaker, it was also known as the Frontier or Widowmaker, in reference to the ease of this revolver and leaving widows among the women of the time.In the westerns of the 1940s and 1950s, the film industry mythologized the "Peacemaker" and he was associated with screen stars such as John Wayne and Gary Cooper. Roosevelt also had a Colt engraved with his initials and George S. Patton used two. The revolver can be cocked and only then fired (double action). The revolver cylinder cannot be swiveled. The cylinder can be loaded by opening the housing, next to the barrel there is a cartridge ejector which also functions via a spring.Manufacturer: Denix, Made in SpainItem condition: New
