US Army Gas Sleeve Detector / ABC Warfare Agent Tracking Paper


As worn by the landing units in the first days in Normandy. These bracelets were worn on the upper arm and turned pink on contact with chemical warfare agents, alerting the soldiers to put on the gas masks. Made in the war by the British and Americans, mostly worn on the right, with a loop for carrying on the epaulette.
