An original British Army camouflage net scarf face veil from the period after the Second World War.
These scarves were introduced in 1942 to aid personal camouflage. They were intended to be placed over a man's back and shoulders to soften the outline of his figure and equipment, but were also used as scarves and as face veils.
This exemplar is a guaranteed original item and not a reproduction. It is in good, used condition.
Some small holes.
