Nyvang is occupied - about World War II
A thought-provoking event about the occupation of Denmark
May 2 and 3, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
On the weekend of May 2 and 3, 2026, Nyvang will be the setting for a historical drama. Scenes from World War II will be reenacted, and you will experience firsthand how the everyday life of the Danish population changed fundamentally. See authentic vehicles and uniforms, historical sites, and hear exciting stories. A dramatic and thought-provoking experience!

VICTORY MUSEUM
Various artefacts, documents and memorabilia from the Second World War are on display. Among other things, you can see military equipment, personal items, pictures, stories and even a replica of an English airfield with twin-engine aircraft. The Victory Museum in Grootegast is dedicated to the liberation of the northern Netherlands and the city of Groningen.

Wednesday 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday 13:00 - 17:00, Saturday 10:00 - 17:00, Sunday 10:00 - 17:00
